Alan, You have indeed spread the light of Mussar far beyond anything we will every really know. As you have previously pointed out, I think Rabbi Perr somehow had an inclining of where your journey might lead. Yet I would love to know how many of the people that have passed specifically through the gates of The Mussar Institute are leading these independent Va'adim throughout the world.
It's a good question, Jeff, and I don't know how to find the answer. The thing is, these groups are, by definition, operating independent of TMI, so how do we find them? And if we do succeed in finding some and we survey them, how do we know that those whom we identified are representative? There are bound to be people in the world with more sophistication in methodology who might be able to address these and other such issues but I don't know who they are. In the end, it's more a question to the board of directors than to me. You might even consider passing it along to Annabelle to take to the board. I support that idea. Thanks!!!
